All Together Now!
All Together Now! is a multimedia kid’s tv show centered around a gender-expansive, intergenerational neighborhood of people who share their stories, skills and resources with each other to create projects that uplift their community. Made up of short multimedia segments, each episode of All Together Now! is centered around a group project (a parade, a puppet show, a band festival) where everyone in the community gets to play a creative role. In each episode, kids learn how to make a project with repurposed materials, encouraging them to imagine and build the world they want to live in.
The home base of All Together Now! is a vibrant cartoon neighborhood called Sun City, where creative expression, DIY learning, intergenerational connection, and chosen family are core values. Embodiment and emotional literacy are also integral to the educational framework of the show.
There are several key locations in Sun City: Gramma’s workshop, the community garden, the Tune Room (a musical hub), the Pink Tiger Cafe, Glitter N’ Letters bookstore, the bike collective, and the local radio station. These gathering spaces are central to the learning, making and storytelling that takes place on the show.
Below are a few different segments of the show: Frankie’s World, The Clubhouse, and the Talk Show.
